Think Big Summit is a biennial philosophical summit that explores cross-disciplinary perspectives on social and personal issues in life and societies. This is NOT an academic philosophy conference. It is open to all.
This year we are exploring the theme “The Malaysian Dilemmas”, the dilemmas pertaining to Malaysians’ identities.
The Summit features a mix of talks, panel discussions, interactive activities and pop-up booths, covering topics pertaining to Malaysian identity and unity. Participants can engage in talks with renowned speakers, network with participants from diverse backgrounds, and explore booths with advocacy groups and organisations championing various social causes.
Of course not! This event is meant for all who wishes to engage in the issues of national identity and national unity. Open for all to participate, as long as you are passionate in critical reflection and dialogues!
Of course, the Summit is open to everyone from diverse backgrounds, identities, professions, and age groups. No prior knowledge is required on any of the subject matters or topics explored.
The full price of in-person summit pass is RM65.
Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer limited subsidised in-person summit pass at RM 18, and a super limited Early Bird tickets for free. There is no difference in what you get in the in-person summit pass.
There is also the option to participate online at RM10 (partial summit experience – selected recorded talks).
Yes! Lunch is included in the in-person summit passes. There is also a cafeteria at the venue.
Yes you can. However, a flat ticket fee is charged. And we highly encourage participants to stay for the whole day to maximise your summit experience and meet your desired speakers.
